Using stamping or cutting, each frying pan, saucepan or utensil is formed using traditional methods, defects are removed and they are hand-polished to guarantee a perfect finish.
Located at Faymont-Val d’Ajol (in the Vosges) for more than 180 years, de Buyer company is proud of its roots and upholds its claim to be ‘Made in France’.
As proof of quality and recognition, in 2009 the Ministry for the Economy, Finance and Industry presented Manufacture de Buyer with the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) award, which has recognised French companies with traditional expertise and industrial excellence for decades.
De Buyer company meets the requirement of the ISO 9001 quality certification for the design, manufacturing and sale of kitchen and pastry utensils.
In 2013 the De Buyer Company began the process to obtain the GUARANTEED FRENCH ORIGIN label for its production range. Examining all the ranges is a long process, and will continue to the end of 2014.The first de Buyer products which obtained this label are the Mandolines and the supple pastry moulds Elastomoule.
De Buyer has been awarded in the “Cookware” category by the editorial team of Capital, , as a result of a survey among 10,000 French consumers measuring their satisfaction with brands proposing house equipment.
